1550nm OTDR FBG Reflector SC/APC
Description:
This 1550nm fiber optic reflector is a standard SC connector construction with a special FBG packed in a ceramic sleeve. Fiber Reflectors are low-cost, band-specific reflectors that are installed on the optical network unit (ONU) side. It reflects nearly 100% of the optical pulses (1550 +/- 5 nm) from the OTDR on the fiber optic line terminal (OLT) side and successfully transmits the operating band of the passive optical network (PON). In the communication area, the communication light and the detection light can be separated, and the detection light can be prevented from transmitting and affecting the communication signal. OTDR reflector is used to help to increase the sensitivity of the OTDR for checking the optical continuity of a subscriber and troubleshooting.
