Invisible Optical Fiber Cable is the abbreviation of transparent tight-buffered optical cable. It is composed of G.657 optical fiber, fiber paste, and a transparent tight-buffered layer. Each layer is extruded step by step using the extrusion process. The diameter of the invisible optical cable is 0.9mm. Invisible optical cable sheath materials can be selected from PVC and nylon. Conventional invisible optical cables are made of PVC, but if the hardness needs to be a little higher, we can choose nylon material, which has higher hardness and tensile strength.
Invisible optical cables are suitable for applications where users do not accept the use of skin-line optical cables or solve the problem of users’ difficulty in entering the home, especially in old communities and offices. The optical fiber used is G.657 optical fiber with a minimum bending radius of 5mm. When laying, there is no need to hammer in nails, make brackets, drill holes, or make pipes, which would damage the original structure of the room, or cause safety hazards such as cable sagging or falling off due to discontinuity in laying. At the same time, because the optical cable is almost transparent, it will not affect the indoor appearance. The construction method is simple, and only a hand-held heating installation tool is needed to complete the laying project.
